I was able to escape all of the frenzy of les soldes in Paris to take a little trip to Bruges in Belgium this week...such a lovely place. I'd heard that it's well worth a look-see and it certainly didn't disappoint. The little village referred to as the "Venice of the North" was charming in every way....

Dear Katrin: merci my dear :) Thanks for stopping by...I just need to sort through all the photos I took ... there are so many because everywhere you look, it's a view that you would like to capture forever!
Dear T.W.: It has that olde worlde European feel to it for sure. There were many day-trippers, but my visit left me wanting to return to see more...definitely worth a few day's exploration.
